Please review the following directions to assist you in your record presentation during your KSTAR assessment:

All records are blinded (de-identified) peer review records of like specialty, and you will be asked to present these records to our KSTAR physicians.

Expectations for KSTAR:

As you are preparing, please keep the following in mind.

1. Inpatient and ER records
   
   1. You are the chief resident.
   2. Prepare your presentation as if you are presenting cases from your staff to the attending physician.
   3. You will want to talk about the case, including what went right, what went wrong, and what you would or would not correct.
2. Ambulatory (Outpatient)
   1. You are the chief resident and will be handing off the cases.
   2. Therefore, prepare your presentation with the criteria above in mind, and discuss the cases accordingly.
