2010 NQSC Conference Brochure
With the focus today on Safe Practice, the Rural and Community Health Institute’s Nursing Quality and Safety Collaborative (NQSF) mission is to advance safe nursing practice through a multi-institutional collaborate that promotes patient safety and quality of care.
The program will utilize a systems approach to conduct impartial, objective reviews by nursing peers.
All identifying information specific to the patient, hospital, and providers will be blinded. RCHI’s policies and procedures regarding information security ensure that documents received, reviewed, and reported confidentially and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
The Texas Department of rural Affairs (TDRA) has provided a grant to offset cost for the initial 10 hospitals involved in the HQSC program.
