Ms. Carroll comes to the Texas A&M Health Science Center Rural and Community Health Institute from the corporate arena. She spent eight years as a database analyst for a division of a Fortune 500 corporation headquartered in Austin, Texas, and holds several professional certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Her database experience includes architecture, programming, optimization and data conversion. Ms. Carroll is also proficient in several Internet programming languages.
As lead database administrator for the Texas A&M HSC-Rural and Community Health Institute, Ms. Carroll has most notably participated in the creation of the Pre-Hospital Trauma Registry Tool for the U.S. Army 75th Ranger Regiment. She is currently working toward integrating many of the Texas A&M HSC-RCHI service and research programs into a centralized database.
