Mrs. Winkler is a 1997 nursing graduate from Trinity Valley Community College in Kaufman, TX. After graduation, Mrs. Winkler began her nursing career as a bedside nurse in the acute care setting including post-operative, medical and emergency care.
In the last five years, Mrs. Winkler has modified her focus to include quality improvement. Prior to her employment with Texas A & M Health Science Center Rural and Community Health Institute she was employed as a Case Manager at a 119 bed facility and a Data Abstractor for Core Measures.
Mrs. Winkler is the Program Manager for Physicians Peer Review and Utilization Services. She is a member of the Texas Nurse’s Association.
